Sally Simon lives and writes in Fleischmanns, NY (in the Catskills) among trees, chipmunks, deer, turkeys, bears and even bobcats. After receiving her M.F.A. in Writing from Manhattanville College over twenty-five years ago, she focused on her teaching career, writing with her students and inspiring them to become writers themselves. After retiring in June, 2019, she decided it was time to return to her love of writing. She is currently writing a variety of smaller pieces while revising and querying her first novel, a ghost coming of age story. When not writing, she travels the world, and occasionally wields an epee (sword) and stabs her friends for fun.
