Sally was a writer in residence at Rockvale Writers Colony (Tennessee) for two weeks in Spring, 2021. While there, she finished the first draft of a YA novel.

For fun, Sally sometimes works as an extra for films. For the 2020 movie, Antarctica, she was a nursing home aide and made the official trailer dancing with a resident during a Christmas party. Two seconds of fame.
Sally was honored to play the part of Ms. Estabrooke in a senior honor thesis movie by William Schwartz, called “Lessons in Red.” (2020)
